International Practice Group (IPG) and Moores Rowland International (MRI) are pleased to announce the signing of a partnership agreement, marking the beginning of an exciting new chapter for both organizations. The partnership is founded on a strong mutual appreciation and shared vision. Over time, both organizations have developed great respect for each other’s networks, values, and approach to fostering meaningful connections. This agreement formalizes that relationship and creates a framework for closer collaboration.

By joining forces, IPG and MRI aim to expand opportunities for their members, strengthen international relationships, and create new pathways for global advisory. Together, the two groups see significant potential to connect professionals during combined conferences around the world and facilitate cross-border partnerships. Especially in these extraordinary times, in which the members of both parties are increasingly making use of AI, we find it important to continue connecting on a social level as well. Although AI can replace a large part of our knowledge, it will never be able to replace the warm bond between our members.

“This partnership is a natural next step for our organizations,” said Nicholas Lakeland, Chairman of IPG. “After a successful joint conference in Singapore in late 2025, where I had the pleasure of meeting many members of MRI, I was certain that we would have a closer collaboration in the future. It is wonderful to see what a magnificent network MRI has built over the past few years. We as IPG believe that by working together we can create greater value and open doors to opportunities that neither organization could achieve alone.”

James Kallman, Chairman of Moores Rowland International, added: “Our member firms in 15 countries serve clients who do more and more business across borders, and those clients expect their advisors to do the same. IPG gives MRI members direct access to trusted lawyers, accountants and tax advisors around the world, and it gives IPG members a ready partner network in every market where MRI operates. We are putting AI to work across our audit, tax and advisory practices, so our people spend less time on routine tasks and more time with clients. Technology makes us faster. Relationships are what make us trusted, and this alliance is about building more of them.”

As explained by Secretary General of Moores Rowland International, Baudouin Coomans, the partnership will focus on knowledge exchange, joint virtual meetings, networking events including conferences around the world, and the development of international opportunities for members of both organizations. By combining their strengths, IPG and MRI are committed to building a stronger global network and fostering meaningful connections across borders. Both organizations look forward to a successful and long-term collaboration that benefits their members and contributes to greater international engagement and growth. Finally, they hope to organize a joint conference again soon, such as the one in Singapore.
